As much as people hate on dubs, this one reason I’m glad I tend to focus on them. The ADR team does a great job of translating and localization. Is it word for word the same as Japanese? No, if you want that, use AI. This keeps the spirit while making sure it’s more culturally understandable.

I could tell recently. They’ve been seriously fucked up for Closed Captions. Only made worse by a bug recently where every episode starts with them enabled even if I have them turned off in the settings.

I remember that Publisher could make web pages too. How? Since it was supposed to be WYSIWYG it exported the entire thing as a single image and used an html image map for the links.

I still freaking can’t find a B580 that isn’t scalped. I haven’t bothered to look in about a month, so maybe things have changed.

I was troubleshooting why an upgrade from 10Mb Cards to 100Mb cards wasn’t working for a group of users. Tracing the lines and come to find out the existing lines were Cat-3…. that suddenly got splice in to a 50-pair telco bundle at a 66 block. Worked perfectly fine for 10Mb, not so much for anything faster.
