Sounds like pretty much every multiplayer game with Anti-Cheat is horribly designed in that case…
Anti-Cheat software seems to be the last hurdle preventing widespread compatibility with Linux. Even when there is a linux version of an anti-cheat (BattleEye has a Linux version I believe) companies don’t use that and still restrict their game to windows.
