Any gig worker for lyft/uber/fuckworkers.com isn’t going to feel free to say no (if they have any choice at all) and putting the onus on riders doesn’t make sense here at all.

Canada has privacy laws that techbro companies from the USA simply ignore. Now is the best time to start enforcing them.
