I agree with the first part of what you said, but I disagree with your last sentence.

I have been using Linux on my desktop PCs and laptops since 2017 and it’s been working great for me, even playing games. Honestly, I probably play more games on Linux than I did back when I was on Windows lol

Technically they’re right, which is why pirating Ubisoft games is ethical.

I’m mixed on it. If it is more secure/safe then that’s a good thing, but if it’s done because it’s MIT-licensed instead of GPL-licensed, then that could possibly be concerning.

For what it’s worth, they have experimental Wayland support. It’s an important distinction. For example, Cinnamon has experimental Wayland support IIRC and last time I tried setting up a lock screen on my ThinkPad (you know, for security purposes, since it’s a laptop and all) I wasn’t able to get one working.

I mean, look at Nintendo. Obviously aggressive legal tactics aside, they make some damn fun games because they know that gameplay matters more than graphics.
