Oh OK. And here I thought I was in a thread about a video game 😉
Isn’t this a free patch?
Some save scumming. A couple of false starts. Once or twice where I played a few hours before realizing that I fucked up several hours prior.
Yes, I know this is not how the game is meant to be played. No, I do not care.
How is more options a bad thing?
Oh shit good call, I’m in the same boat. I have like 100 hours and I’m still at the end of Act 1. Had to take a break, but it’s a hard game to come back to after a while.
Yeah exactly. Worst case, I reboot my system and it’s fine again lol.
I see people sometimes try to act like immutable is only for newbies or people who don’t like tinkering, and it’s just not true.
It’s beginner-friendly, sure. But you’re really not that limited in what you can do, you just need to learn the different ways that they’re done on immutable (rpm-ostree for example).
There is a slight learning curve, but after a few months, I really grew to like the entire concept of immutable and atomic. I’m not sure I would ever go back to Arch (if I want anything from AUR I just start up my Arch distrobox).
Yep… Every now and then I’ll come across a really old game in my library that Steam says is “unsupported” and I’ll take it as a challenge to see how long it takes for me to get it running.
Usually takes like 5 minutes lol. Proton is legit incredible.
Could it be that maybe the devs are also humans and were also misled into making a decision based on bad statistics?
Any reason to go with Nobara over Bazzite?
Steam also has like the most generous return policy for video games ever
Been playing this one, very fun. First rogue like I’ve played in a while that has given me the “just one more run” feeling.
I’ve got several friends that game 100% in Linux, and play E:D with flight sticks and shit. Not into the game so I don’t know anything about the specifics, but seems perfectly doable…
I don’t know much about login managers, but I do know that SDDM has been a pain in my ass on more than one occasion and on more than one distro.
It’s not semantics, they are two different things.
And to your edit… Are you upset that there are two different words that mean two different things? I don’t understand.
they decided to create a bigger confusion by giving another word a completely different and exclusive meaning
Isn’t this just how words work…?
Meh who cares what people think lol
