  • Watching this at night was a mistake, that Sauced Katsudon looked really tasty, now I’m craving it A brimming hot serving of Katsudon cut into dice-shaped pieces with brown sauce on top and a topping of half-boiled egg
I’m really tempted to use this as the post screenshot (and maybe also for future episodes if the format is a weekly food focus)

The art style is really nice, loving the water painting look for the background art. The characters also really expressive, especially ~~oshinko-~~Shinon-chan attempts at “bribing” the clerk. Shinon-chan repeating her welcome with a louder voice and raising two hands because the first one got no response is really funny.

This is definitely a low tension CGDCT, although they hint at some development for Makocchi. She tried to be more open to new things, and hoping the club will help on that if not for Shinon-chan quickly shooting down the idea since it was all just a farce.

  • This was a great premiere. The animation was great, and the joke was stupid as the manga. Can’t wait to see all the shenanigans Nico will bring with her magic. The visual on the OP is amazing, it was filled with many references for future events with a really smooth and fast-paced animation. I don’t really vibe with the song, might need to listen to it a couple of times to vibe with it. The soundtrack during the anime was pretty rough, felt a little too generic. Overall, a great start for the anime.

  • Finally finished my Winter 2025 list

    • Bang Dream! Ave Mujica: My biggest surprise this season. It was a bold move to incorporate psychological horror into a girl band anime, and they have done a great job. They do a great job with the composition, timing, and soundtrack to keep us on the edge each time the band clashes. You wouldn’t know where they will take you each episode. They were brave enough to write a broken band descent into madness and believe they could still garner fans for the real-life counterpart. There were some issues with the pacing, otherwise, it would easily have been a 9/10 for me. I won’t stop glazing it. 8/10
    • The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You Season 2: They did a great job translating the joke to anime form, same with season 1. The overall animation is rather inconsistent, though, for some scenes they did an amazing job animating it (karaoke eps), others have awkward layouts and inconsistent form. They did a great job making sure the impactful moment still got a great animation. 7/10
    • Blue Box: I don’t have much to say. Mostly only follow it because I read the manga. Same with 100 gf, it has the same issues with its animation. The last 3 episodes were amazing 7/10
