

I respectfully disagree. AMD basically said that they survived the Bulldozer debacle because of Sony and Microsoft ordering their APUs. The custom designs also have trickled down with AMD making iGPU that are desktop levels now (8060S).

Yep, they should have just put the yearly changes on something like a season pass and timed the major release with the regulation changes to match the simulation engine development.
Institutional knowledge is a real thing and also like you said, the first KSP started as a passion project. There’s a huge difference in terms of pressure and expectation between developing your own passion project compared to developing a sequel of a highly regarded game.
Don’t worry, we’ll find another part that’s going to be broken instead. TBH it already happened to my friend’s Gullikit controller, his shoulder and trigger buttons are already broken, but not his analog stick.
I know a guy who only buys games as last resort but bought all the gooner skins in Rivals.
