No worries, sorry for being unclear.
IMHO he’s pretty good to watch. “LGR” stands for “lazy game reviews,” which I guess is how he started, but these days he mainly talks about retro hardware with an occasional game review (such as the one above). He gained popularity recently after being impacted by a weather event that unfortunately damaged a lot of rare hardware he was storing.
Hope you like him!
Yeah, sorry, I didn’t mean to accuse you of plagiarism or anything; I just found the comparison apt.
In case you find yourself interested, feel free to compare and contrast: https://youtu.be/imFr96t_XuA
This is basically LGR’s review summarized.
If you’re more of a reader than a watcher, there are also many searchable individual pages to help with this. Personally, I’ve learned a lot from TLDP.
Honestly, I don’t remember for sure, but probably approximately then.
Fair enough.
It was pretty niche
That’s odd to read; during the very early years of my exposure to Linux, a lot of what I learned was learned by going to my local Barnes & Noble and browsing the 2-3 Linux magazines, primarily this one, they had prominently displayed in the periodicals section.
I was going to post a note about typewriters, allegedly from Tom Hanks, which I saw years and years ago; but I can’t find it.
Turns out there’s a lot of Tom Hanks typewriter content out there.
What power?
