Genuine question, does somebody know if they really used baths without getting naked or is it just to avoid ecchi scenes?
I feel like bathing with clothes on would be somewhat unpleasant.
I wouldn’t put it past ancient China palace regulations. They worked really hard to differentiate themselves from commoners. In the brothel scene they all bathed naked, including Maomao.
