Yea. The only games I buy on release are fighting games, but that just because during the release window is some of the best fun you can have for the online multiplayer as a casual. After about the first month or so a meta gets established and then everyone online is just playing the same carbon copy of whatever the YouTube pros are doing.
Though these hands are getting old and I think this most recent release of fighters will be my last. Just can’t keep up anymore.
It’s extra funny when you realize she is sticking out her ring finger.
Sophia, this new game’s protagonist, is a pirate in the other games who throughout the franchise becomes a close friend to, and sorta takes the place as a maternal figure for, Amicia and Hugo (the protagonists of the original games)
This game is a prequel into her life set some years before the events of the plague.
And Grim Fandango
Almost scrolled past this then I saw “Double Fine” and my head nearly spun. Keeping a close eye on this one.
Same. It was rough but damn it was good fun. I really hope they cleaned up the edges with two and full send it with that dark satire angle again. I want them to double down with the humor they cultivated for the in-game world.
“It’s not the best choice, it’s Spacer’s Choice”
Weird cause I have the exact opposite reaction. Could not get into Outer Wilds. Flying the ship was so annoying.
Welp, guess I can get this one on sale just like I did the first. This i spent maybe $15-$20 on it?

Fucking seriously? Even the Wu-Tang?
Oh, how the giants fall.
This right here has childhood me screaming.
It was already silently revealed during the Nintendo Direct for the Switch 2.
No joke. Confirmed release for sometime this year.
Spoiler lore reveals from the ending
It is much more than just Pinocchio’s story. Dorothy makes an appearance and there are hints of Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty & the Beast and a few others are alluded to throughout the game if you pay close attention.
The story also takes after the older rendition of the tale that is much more mature in its representation of themes. Think of it like a “Brothers Grimm” version instead of the watered down Disney edition.
Crispy Critters
Legitimately surprised that this landed a sequel.
From my experience playing on PS5.
No.
Only slightly disagree.
Inquisition and Veilguard aren’t bad games. They are each fun in their own ways and cater to certain audiences.
That audience just so happens to not be in any way related to the Dragon Age fandom.
