I’m just a weird, furry, pan guy (cis he/him). I also have a big, blue username.
Currently on Earth for 8 years ensuring steps to unite humanity and usher us into the galactic civilization just so I can see my boyfriend again.
The Dwarf Fortress community has been doing this exact thing for years now. IIRC, Boatmurdered was also one of these where the save was being passed between multiple folks.
I have used a tool (not this one specifically) that could do this specifically for its other function of calculating the worth of all your steam trading cards/marketable game items, and to batch sell them when I have enough to get something with the cash.
Ecco the Dolphin. (Genesis)
Sid Meier’s Pirates! (PC)
Subnautica (PC)
Uncharted Waters: New Horizons (SNES)
I would really like something that is a modern Uncharted Waters or Pirates! game. They are both very similar games, and both are also quite old.
Having been playing it again recently, it still has a lot of what Morrowind had, and Skyrim doesn’t. Plays like Skyrim, but still has more depth than it. Not a lot more, but still more.
I don’t think it would be hard to fake these screenshots. Bethesda shadow dropping a game of this high profile within a week, without ever having officially said anything about it or even replying to media asking about it just seems incredibly unlikely.
The input emulation system in Steam is also heavily affected by accessibility needs. A part of the system that isn’t really seen or talked about is how it is used for many non-standard input devices made for people with physical disabilities.
Newell (himself, afaik not within Valve) is also currently researching BCIs, with making devices for disabled people the biggest thing those are being used for currently.
Is this like a remake/remaster of the OG 2033 or its own game?
I wonder what this’ll do to the price of used physical copies
Probably nothing. The used prices aren’t necessarily reduced based on the retail price of the new copy, but by the supply vs the demand.
Extraction shooter… 😔
More new content? God damn, how many times am I supposed to play this game? They haven’t even dropped DLC yet!
It’s literally the GPU’s (a 1660 Super) fan that’s loudest. I can’t change that out, afaik. The case fans are Noctuas and the CPU has a Corsair AIO liquid cooler.
I can definitely hear the difference between my PC and my PS5.
My PC’s fans are way louder than my PS5.
I also can hear the difference in the game sounds and music because my PC is on some nice speakers, but my PS5 has to use the shitty speakers on my TV.
I forgot the name of it (Ex Machina? 🤔), but there is a top down diablo-like game with somewhat QWOPish controls and physics based combat. You control movement normally (assuming you’re standing), but you have to actually swing your sword around with the mouse and because it’s a top down view, this becomes a real challenge. It’s also presented as a soul like, so the AI is generally actually good at combat, and it’s also slow, and heavy feeling.
I don’t think it ever got finished, though. It was semi-popular for about a week before I never really saw it anymore.
“Cant afford a Switch 2? Just don’t eat and save up until you can!”
This is the “cyanide” without the “happiness.”
Put the onus on the retailer to limit how many units a single customer can purchase. Why would Nintendo give a single fuck about scalpers, anyway?
I never got to play PS1 so I’m curious how different it is, and if it is possibly better than 2.
I might just be confusing it with bullet drop. They use lasers so that makes more sense that they just don’t have bullet drop.
